The Strive to Thrive! series includes 5 teen-friendly, magazine-style activity books that challenge teens to explore important and timely environmental health issues that they confront in their daily lives. Designed for use with middle and high school kids, each activity handbook includes challenges to get teens thinking; hands-on activities that can be done at home, club, or school; short articles to bring the reader up to date on the issues; probing questions; and games, puzzles, and other interactive extensions.

The Strive to Thrive! activity handbooks, written directly to the young teen audience, allow for learning and discovery that draws teens, their families, and friends into discussions on these pertinent topics. These handbooks are great resources for self-directed learning in informal settings such as science clubs, youth organizations, and after school programs.
