COURSE OVER

Make an impact on public health education by reaching teens and their families. Become a part of this nationwide educational partnership to improve the public’s understanding of human health and the environmental factors that affect it. We invite participation from organizations and groups from around the country in the HealthRICH Partners Program.

Benefits of becoming a HealthRICH partner include the following:

  • full use of all the HealthRICH educational units, including Lather Up!, The Skin You’re In, Safe Not Sorry, and more
  • training in the use of the units for up to four of your representatives
  • credit, stipend, travel minigrant for attendees
  • $3,000 in funds to support HealthRICH implementation in your region includes funds for hosting the training workshop and allocations for carrying out programs with young teens and/or families

For details on becoming a HealthRICH partner and participating in the training workshop, contact Deputy Project Director Marina Canepa at (513) 727-3438 or canepam@muohio.edu.

The training workshop will provide you with experience doing the same hand-on activities you will subsequently share with other leaders in your region. Content review, implementation suggestions, ways of maximizing your impact, and other relevant issues will be discussed.

To assist our partner organizations in efforts to impact and prepare other leaders, the HealthRICH SEPA grant will provide an allocation of $3,000 to be used towards outreach implementation in partners’ home regions, including hosting a training session for other leaders and events for young teens and/or families before May 2005. Unit testing and reporting of results are required as part of the course.
