Here’s some breaking news. As a result of a grant from
the Ohio Board of Regents, we’ll be offering workshops
this summer specifically for Ohio teachers of grades pre-K
through 9. Yes, credit will be provided at no cost to you,
but space in these workshops will be very limited.
The Advancing Ohio’s Physical Science Proficiency program
is an opportunity tailor-made for you! The goal of this program
is to help pre-kindergarten through high school teachers empower
their students to succeed in science. Participants will gain
an edge in meeting new state requirements for science proficiency.
The program will focus on standards-based physical science
content and provide connections to students’ lives while
also building reading, writing, mathematics, and other cross-curricular
skills. Through foundation-building instruction and continual
support throughout the school year, teachers will be assisted
in implementing project materials into their curriculum.
This program fills up fast. A few spaces are still open for
Ohio teachers of grades pre-K through 9, but they will be
quickly filled. Apply today before your spot is taken.
